Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Vegatable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 cups Flour

Directions

1. Blend softened butter together with sugars.
2. Beat in Eggs, Vanilla and oil.
3. Sift together Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda, Salt and Flour and blend into the butter mixture.
4. Chill. Roll into balls and layout on cookie sheet, press with glass dipped in sugar.
5. Bake in 350℉ oven for 15 minutes.

Notes
Original recipe from Rosetta specifies "Oleo Margarine" instead of Butter and "Crisco Oil" instead of Vegetable Oil.
